30 sucks

Saw a picture similar to this one day while cruising pinterest... thought it would be a clever gift for our "little" brother... was super simple to do:
Place styrofoam or floral foam in the bottom of a box (can make with card stock or wrap a small box.)  Fill with 30 (40) suckers... label was made by typing, printing and mounting the sentment "30 sucks".  (Can do 40 sucks, etc).

Tada!

Tuesday Tutorial: free pattern!

Ok, yes, we are slacking off here.  But, to make up for it, today I’m giving you the link to a free pattern to make an adorable dress for your little one!  No, it’s not my pattern, but you will still totally love it! Check it out!

I know, right, what could be cuter!  And it was sooo simple!  I had never done ruffles, and I hate hemming, but I still had everything done start to finish in just over 2 hours!

And of course with pictures of puppies and duckies, it makes the dress all that much cuter!

And you can even have us customize a hairbow to go with it…or if you  aren’t a sewer, of course we’ll make the dress for you too!  But I know some of you can sew and love to do it, so here’s the link for the adorable dress pattern.  (Please don’t ask me my opinion on fabric.com though, if you do I may just show you the large boxes in my house waiting to be returned and fill you full of the story!)
Love the pictures?  Check out my friend Angela at www.lillygracephotography.com.  She’s on facebook too.  As you can tell, she does an awesome job!  Hard to believe that my daughter kept saying “NO MORE PICTURES!”  And I think she meant it, we just kept tricking her!

Tuesday tutorial- bleach art

Something I saw on pinterest that I had to try... using bleach to make a design on a colored shirt!  It was surprisingly easy...
Start with a clean colored shirt and a Clorox bleach (for whites!) Pen
For this shirt I used a stencil cit with my cricut, but the pen comes with a "fine tip" so if you're really good you can draw it on.  Next, use the bleach to make your design and then let the bleach do its thing... just watch and you'll see the color fade...  amount of time is gonna vary depending on colorfastness of the shirt.
When its ready rinse the bleach off, then wash and wear!
